Hi guys !

Quick question ... which one do you prefer 18'' or 20'' on your runner ?

Any input why going for 18'' or going for 20'' ?

If you guys have picture of your wheel feel free to post them ! It would be great to have some example !

Thanks

My limited has 18" wheels and I don't think that I'd want to go any larger for practical reasons. There have been several occasions where my rims would have been munched by curbs or rocks if I'd had any less sidewall than I do now.

With that said though, I do think that the 5th gen 20" limited wheels do look pretty slick on a 4th gen:

I would say it depends on what if any lift you might have that would allow for some sidewall. If youre going 20's with NO lift, expect a more "urban" look. I would vote 18's. You have the option of looking urban or off road dependant upon tire selection. Good Luck!

If you are going to be off-road at all stick to smaller wheels. If you are just cruising the mall for chicks, bigger the better.

That's the same color as my runner and you bet it look sick on the 20's !!!

Yeah that's why im asking for input cause i REALLY like the look of the 20's but I don't cruise the mall hehehe.

Im an avid fisherman and about half my mileage in a full year in while towing my boat !

In my opinion 17s or 18s look good on 4runners. I feel like 20s only look good if you're running a huge tire.

no go on the 20's they don't look good imo it would like putting 20's on a rally car or something...I would say 17's are ideal if you plan to off road a lot, I just got 18's on my new 33's wish I would have order 17's but my 18's look really great with a big tire but I rather have the extra inch of side wall for the rocks, because I do a lot of wheeling my 18's on XD 962's and 33's are my on road wheels and I have atx 17's on baja claws for rock crawling and hard trails so to get some new 33 trail grapplers though :phone: go with 18's on 31.5s or 33s depends what lift though

smaller rims make it much easier to tow your boat towing on 20s and 33's up very steep grades like in the mountains can put a lot of stress on tranny and axles hope you got a tranny cooler if you go with 20's and drive on trails you will get more rim rash imo
