1985 t4r diesel conversion

Hi,
I have a 1985 manual 4Runner that I have never drove.
What do I have to do to get the diesel engine to fit into the 4Runner? It will be a diesel/vege oil conversion. The transmission bell housing does not match the diesel. I think the 4Runner has a 5-speed, may need a 4-speed transmission or a bell housing to match it up?
