199 mm Tundra Brake Upgrade

I see a lot of 231 mm write ups, but I cannot find a parts list for the 199 mm upgrade.

Anybody remember the link or have them handy?

Amazing Toyota used the 13WL on all some pretty large/heavy vehicles!!

From the amazon parts listing above:

Toyota Sequoia 2001 - 2002 - 2WD or 4WD Models with Front Caliper Casting - 13WL

Hang On,

13WL are the 231 mm calipers. I am looking for the 199 mm's. I want to bolt on and go without having to change wheels. I have the stock 16's on.

The OP was asking about the 199, not the 231....

What wheels do you have? theyll fit all but one toyota wheel and even then, you only need a 5mm spacer. 20 bucks for all 4 spacers

Nice color! I have the same wheels, but I put 1.5" spacers on it.

You can get the spacers at autozone, oreilly, pep boys, advance auto, checker auto, kragen...you get the idea.
They're either 2 or 4 per pack. I cant say whether the 231s are better but I figured if I were going to do it, go big. When it comes to brakes, bigger is better.
Also, theres a reason Toyota stepped up to a bigger caliper. Also, the 231s came on more vehicles so its more common and more readily available as far as parts go.

Pricewise, I got cross drilled and slotted rotors, Red powder 13wl calipers and ceramic pads (should have gone standard, but...) for 280 after core return from brake motive or callahan...cant remember but i think theyre the same company. No wobble, no warpage in the 2 years they've been on there

Hey man, thanks for the reply. I am pretty sold on the 231's now. So do I just need 5 mm spacers to make it happen (as was said above). And where did you get your parts from? I am usually an OEM kinda guy, but what do you think about that amazon link?

I think those are the exact ones i got...lol. I love them. Look good, stop good. go to the link I posted and see what you need to do to get your particular wheels to fit and it shows where to cut the dust shield as well.
 
I do remember ordering from brakemotive because I ordered my mustang brakes and rotors from them, but like i said, if you look both of these up on ebay, they even have the same ebay pages and location which leads me to believe they are the same company

I would trust these over getting junk yard parts or pick and pull places...at least these are clean and new

Thanks for the tips. I will likely order that brake kit from amazon - is ebay better? You mention ebay. Also, you would not happen (or anybody) to know the OEM part numbers for the pads, calipers and rotors? I do I just call toyota and as for the parts for a "2003 Tundra?"
 
amazon is easier. I was just stating ebay because its easier to compare the companies and pages. As far as Toyota parts, yeah just ask for the 2003 tundra parts. I used 2006 4wd v8 for my "guide" or "car". Go to camelbacktoyota.com or citytoyota.com and the parts section should give you illustrations of the parts as well as prices and part numbers. Some dealers make you contact them but there are some that let you go through the listings. freemantoyota.com is another cheaper online seller
 
If you prefer OEM, you can either get them from the dealer or from a junkyard. look for a 2004-2006 Tundra. If you get the calipers from the junkyard, it would be good if you get a brake repair kit from the dealer.

bummer - Callahan brake parts does not ship to Vancouver, Canada. I will have to find another source. Checking out other sites i suppose.
