1990 v6 starts then shuts down after 1 second

I'mmmmmm BACK!!

So I went to the wrecking yard today and got a couple of CORs (one for a spare).
Got home, put one in and that was the problem. It runs great now. I just got done driving the crap out of it to make sure the problem didn't resurface.

Warm EFI Relay?

I noticed that the EFI relay is still getting a little hot. Not steaming hot, but it gets warm. Is it normal for this relay to get warm? The motor runs great.

i was wondering the same thing, did a quick google search, its a circuit opening relay. judging by the search results, seems like it's fairly common with the older T4r's. OP glad you got it up and running! Glad to help even though I may have led you on a wild goose chase!

With a 23 year old vehicle, I think it's a good thing that I replaced the fuel pump and filter. The starter needed to be changed anyway, and I think that the starter going out might have done the COR in. I still need to change all the vacuum hoses, and the fuel pressure regulator, as well as going through all the different systems and getting this T4R into tip top shape.

When you replaced the fuel pump, did you drop the tank or cut a hole in the floor under the rear seat passenger side.????
