1995 towing package capacity / rating?

Does anyone know what the towing hitch that comes with a 95 4wd is rated for? Mine is all rusty and the label is gone.. in the manual it says trailer wt + cargo can't exceed 3500 lbs, so I guessing that is the limit? I was trying to check the hitch rating as described here:

In the brochure for my 1991, it is a class 2 and towing was rated at 3500. that is with the 3.0L V-6
