Hello all. My name is Ian and I just purchased a 1995 4runner V6 auto with 125k miles. It is my 2nd t4r. My first was an 88 with a totally built 22re and a suspension lift. I miss it dearly. The 95 fell into my hands for $200 with cyl #3 in a complete state of relaxation. I have spark but thats all I've checked so far. I don't believe it to be a major problem. The exhaust does not smell funny or smoke at all. I lean toward a dead fuel injector I guess because I would think it would have thrown a code dumping un-spent fuel in the exhaust. Also it would wash the walls of oil and most likely sieze. It's been driven in this condition for a while. I don't think it's a HG cause it does not smoke at all? I don't think it's rings because that would charge the crank case and push out out the top like my 22re did when I broke rings taching it up to 10k. I figured I would post up my suspicions as a feeler before i look at it here shortly. Any ideas are welcome to be discussed. I look forward to being a part of this community.
