1996 4runner window sticker

Like i mentioned in a previous post i recently bought a 1 owner 96 4runner 4x4 with a seized 3.4 for a winter project. PO gave me all the original sales paperwork & maintenance records. Check out the sticker price, and this was 20 years ago! I was sticker shocked!

Was it a local Dealership? Browns, Russell etc.....

Nothing unexpected. Mine was somewhere around 34k. These were not cheap shit vehicles. The later Limiteds could easily hit 40k.

New prices are not that far off from what they were back then and it makes you wonder what they did to keep the prices so close to what they were 20 years ago. Even the Land Cruiser sticker price is 20k+ more than what it was 20 years ago, and you really scratch your head when comparing the two when trying to figure out where that extra 20k comes from.
