1997 4Runner Rear Diff

I have a bent axle on my 4runner and I know a guy whose selling a 1997 4x4 with the 4 cylinder in it. I was wondering if anybody knew if that rear end would fit in mine but mines a 2wd with the 6 cylinder in it. Any help?

you could always swap your v6 with his i4, then you'd have a v6 4wd 97
anything else wrong with the car, you can just swap your good stuff over... unless you never use 4wd then no point, snag that axle and call it good.
