Just a thought, as I've also flipped a few 4Runners and parted out others. After you hassle with fees, registration, parts, body work, etc. the final price tag + time investment eats into whatever profit you made. I ended up making more money off part-outs than flips and the only expenses I have with part-outs is shipping supplies. Can make up to $4500 on a 2001-02 4WD, and that's with a blown engine and body damage that normally costs sub $1000 to buy.

It's my hobby and I agree 100%. I only wanted to save a few. No way is it cost effective to repair these properly unless you have access to close to free parts. For me, its relaxing and I enjoy watching them transform from ready for the junk yard back to drivable and if you can do body work and paint actually look half really decent when you done.
This is why I enjoy everyone's build thread.

Colorado is a great state for 4Runners, they can go for a premium. Is it 2WD or 4WD? If 2WD you can spruce it up real nice without too much hassle and get at least that much. I sold a 2WD for $4200 with over 220K miles, I did wax the paint and use black trim restorer on the running boards and bumper. I was kinda jealous since when I was done it looked better than my own 98...
And yes, parting out well takes a storage shed with shelves. At the very least some space with some moving boxes (that's how I started).

Easily $200. Try searching your local craigslist and facebook marketplace to figure out a comparable price for your area. Prices fluctuate a lot depending where you are.
The first pic is your clock. Pretty easy to find on eBay as are the bottom seat covers to match. Personally I’d go with recovering it to OEM specs for a better sale price since it’s an Inexpensive and easy fix and YouTube can show you how. The body work is above my pay grade. I have a shop here in Greenville SC that took my $1k estimate and fixed what I needed for 100 bucks in fine fashion. Call around.
New to this site and didn’t realize how far you’ve come with repairs. My guess is a $4k asking price and expect $3500. I’ve owned 5 3rd gens and without maintenance records at or between 200k-275k miles in good condition should command that price unless supply is low in your area. Rust free is everything in my area and gets preferential pricing.let us know how the sale goes!
