i have a 1998 4 runner and trying to find out how to remove the cup holder. anyone know how?

You have to pry the A/C button out with a knife, then pop the black A/C control panel off also with a knife. There are a couple screws behind that that need to be removed and then the main center panel will pop off. You have to remove the part that goes around the shifter too, or you'll have a hard time getting the pieces back together. You can search through some stereo installs if you want some pics.
