1rst gen. questions

I have an 89 4runner and i was looking to replace the center console and the gauge cluster from a 90. Are these swaps possible?

I'm sure you can get the center console to work with some finangeling. As far as the gauge cluster, I wouldn't waste my time. They're not even the same shape so I wouldn't count on that being an easy swap, nevermind the wiring harness issues that you will definitely be faced with. Just my $.02

a while back there was an 89 runner on Ebay that had the center console out of a 96 taco, i think. he said if fit really well. it also had some leather seats out of a BMW m3 that were awesome. i had a ton of pictures of it but cant seem to find 'em...
