1st Gen muffler/tailpipe kit?

Hello,
I need to replace the muffler and tailpipe on my 88 V6. Basically everything south of the cat. Anyone have experience with a prefab mailorder kit that can bolt to the cat? I'm not looking for anything high performance, just a factory replacement. If you've used a website or manufacturer part number, I would appreciate some advice.

But why in heck would you pay all that money for a "exhaust kit" when you could make your own?

I looked up your 3.0 88 4Runner on WalkerExhaust.com and got a parts list. You can use the numbers to order off Amazon or another car parts place. Their exhaust is OEM style and pretty inexpensive.

A bunch of companies make them. I went with Bossal, it was like $70 on rock auto. I sprayed all the welded sections with some high temp enamel and its held up through one harshly road salted winter very well so far.

I found a Bosal kit for $70 online. The kit was delivered ready to be installed. It may not be the most high performer, but it'll do for what I need. I'll let you know how the fit is. Those darn rusty cat bolts!

Who'd you order it from? The comments on Amazon say they put so many stickers on the Walker pipes it took days for them to burn off. I like to order from them because of Prime free shipping though. I'm pretty sure I have a leak in the Y pipe and will have to get something soon.
