Yes, I realize I don't own a 4runner but the main xterra forum is a bit insufficient. I also wheel with a bunch of third gens so I thought joining this forum sounded like a good plan. Don't give me too much crap, I already have back problems from the torsion bars. :doh:

My almost 14 year old son LOVES Xterras. I guess it's form of teenage rebellion. He wants a bright yellow or black one. He's figured out how much he needs to save to get one in 2 1/2 years. Are there any good Xterra forums?

Lol figures. Believe it or not a yellow xterra was also my childhood dream car. Guess some of us just never grow up! From what I've seen, not really. I am a member of Club Xterra (mostly to find some answers, didn't do any posting) and from what I can tell the rigs on there are either pretty hardcore or very basic. Seems like less general knowledge and support.

Even though having an Xterra, I'm sure you'll still be able to find info for it through others on here. It's a solid forum for us and our 4runners but I'm willing to bet there are others on here who have switched from the Xterra to the 4runner(as soon you will too lol) that may still be able to answer questions. Just PM them lol.

When I used to own my 1st gen Pathfinder in Florida I used to wheel with FLXX (Florida Xtreme Xterra) I was able to see the 1st gen Xterra trucks perform. They are some pretty formidable trucks off-road. We took them up into Tellico, as well as Winrock ORV. My buddy had the second ever Xterra with ARB air lockers front and rear. Dang thing was a mean truck!

There is nothing wrong with them. I have seen a few that were set up very nice. If you hang out more you will want a 3rd Gen. Just wait it will hit you :bigok:. Welcome man!
