She's a real beaut Clark! 1988. 4 cyl/5 spd. Looks like hammered shit, but she runs and drives like a dream! I got this truck about a month ago, I love it. Getting a new set of tires this week. Dont plan on doing anything crazy. I'll weld up a couple tube bumpers, sliders, a cage and soft top. I'm thinking the old military green, with the shark teeth coming down the side. Airbrush panels and rivets, give it an aircraft look. But I doubt i'll pull the dents, more than likely they'll return.

87 Hilux Surf

1987 Hilux Surf,2.4L Turbo Diesel, 5spd, Auto locking hubs, A/C, Electric windows/locks etc. 100% JDM down to the owner & service manuals. Only 89k miles. Titled in Kalifornia..NO SMOG:dance: ...Oh and I forgot her younger LHD sister.

Pre 97 diesels= no smog. The CA title states fuel type as "D"...no troubles. Legally imported, just a lot of hoopla to find them and get them over. Kind of doing it as a hobby now. I like the rare Yota diesels.

Missed the part that said diesel. I have looked a little into importing. A lot of things you must follow. Crash test was something I recently learned about.

Tnks axis. It really comes up well in photos. I toyed with the idea of putting a white or brown softtop on it but the stock look suits it.
This and the 2tone are my favorites.
