Looks like a cradle in a 2" receiver.

Yup, made a 2" receiver on the front. Reinforced it with 2" square tube on the sides and front. Found the cradle on craigslist for $60, hasn't let me down yet.

well i ****ed up... big time.. i had just welded new rear fender wells in and hit some black ice, A piller is dented and cab is bent

Springs

Its a Trail-gear kit with 4" front springs and 5" rear.
Homemade bumpers and sliders.

I managed to bend a front spring a couple months ago, but pretty cheap to fix.

Locker issues

hey fellas got a locker question, the rear locker in my 1st gen is doing alot of popping during a turn as if its jumping teeth or something. any ideas as to what is going on and how i can fix it?????
