Nice, I've been looking for some for a long time. I've managed to find a decent set of fronts but no rears! I'm still looking but it'd be sweet if I could find some new ones for a decent price.

I agree they are hard to find new! Once we move to HND in a year or so I may start selling on eBay hard to find parts.

No. I had NWTeamYota do the install. I love it. Have already logged thousands of miles all across Washington and Oregon. Great power. Decent mileage. No Hood mods. Had to mod the driveline, tranny crossmember, and engine mounts. Also switched to a v6 5sps from a second gen. with the 3.4 clutch kit installed. I have a V6 tach installed (from a stocker). Full magnaflow catback with NWTY custom crossover exaust pipe. They did a great job. I'm running toyo at2's. Very close to a 33 x12.50. Stock 4.10 gears. Pulls my ktm 350 on a hitch hauler and my family of 4 up and down any mountain pass and may have to grab 4th doin 75. And the best part is they retrofit the ac from the 5vz-fe so now I have a killer ac unit. Radiator was swapped. Zuk mod in rear (12" 120lb spring). Kyb gas adjusts.Everything works as stock. I added a Bluetooth received with Hertz speakers (4" fronts and 6x9's cut into the rear panel). Also have the Alpine underseat sub installed under the passenger. Sounds great! I love my truck and had no problem dropping the coin for the swap before buying a newer 4Runner.

I'd let you take mine for a drive before deciding. It's a fun truck. I live in Vancouver,Wa just out of the St. Helens shadow.

Final stance after everything settled down. I'm happy with the results. That is a Jeep bumper, that I made a custom mount out of the side panels from an old floor jack. I think it looks and fits naturally-ish. So, the vertical blade mounts on either side of my license plate you see, were once a floor jack. Save your scrap steel! notice the camo under belly.

Thanks! I camo painted pretty much everything, even the engine bay and oil dipstick, engine block, fan shroud, you name it, it's camo on my rig!

I'm buying a 85' turbo diesel 4 runner. Just totaled my 86'
Im extremely excited about it and was wondering if anyone has one and any advice on type of oil filter that is best to use and best oil run in it ?

Hey guys, finally logged on, ive had my runner for over a year and a half now. Now im seriously getting into modding and im getting ready to repaint it tan, do a door removal mod, soft top, small things for now.
