My 16 year old son picked up a nice 1987, now I'm hooked! We are fixing up this bad boy and are having a lot of fun. Tried to persuade him not to throw his hard earned money into a 28 year old vehicle for his first car, but the Runner was all he wanted. Got onto this forum and realized what he had... now I am glad he didn't listen to me (only this one time!) Cheers 1st Gen Bruddas!!

Welcome to the forum! It would be nice to know what got him interested in the first-gen.
Yes, he made an excellent choice. We're here to help make sure that 28-YO truck would last at least another 28 years or more.
