Somewhat, but no. Australia got these badged as 4Runners like the US; but RHD, and with the Japanese market engines - L-diesels and Y-Petrols instead of the R.

Love it. After seeing your truck, I bought a set of silver SSR Auswuch wheels. I can't wait to get them all polished up and on the truck.

Hi guys,

I am a 3rd gen 4runner owner. Just located a 1st gen 86 for $1500. It is 22R 195K miles.
Do not know much about 22R's. Do you think it is worth the price?

Also how easy to locate parts for this truck?

Easy to get parts for them, the only stuff that's getting hard to find is trim bits. All the mechanical stuff and sheet metal parts are readily available.

Can't put a price on it with just the info you've given though. If it's rusted out and doesn't run, $1500 is way too much. If it's clean and straight and needs no major mechanical work, $1500 might be a steal. Start a new thread with some good pics and more info - 22R or 22RE? Auto or manual? Running? Rust?

I texted the seller at 10 PM and went to see it around 11 AM. It is sold. Never thought these 4runners (no solid axle) are in high demand. But I inspected it to note the price and condition connection.
It had the altimeter/inclinometer. Seats torn, sunroof broken, both front window cranks/door panel damaged. Interior is OK for 29 year old truck. No serious rust. Passenger side had noticeable dents.
Well.... next time I will not wait eve a second to see it.

Can't wait to get it on the trails, and maybe some rocks.We are almost done with the mods and we can start putting it back together. Had to remove the factory rear seats because the rear frame and floors were rusted away. Replaced it all.

Mt. Baker

Went up to Mt. Baker in Washington last week. Messed around on a snow mobile trail till I ran into some downed trees. Then decided to go up to the ski resort to see what was happening. Since it was closed, I put it in 4 Wheel and decided to see what was happening a little further up!
