Thanks, it's been a work in progress. I'm trying to bring it back to what the Toyota God's made it originally. Parts aren't getting any easier to find I'm afraid.

Finally got around to cutting some of the rust out of the rear wheel wells. It wasn't much at only 1.5" but it looks a whole lot better.

I got the seat covers at Costco about a year ago. They aren't real high quality, but do provide some seat protection. I'm looking down the road at redoing the seats, but that's a ways down the road.

I love your 1st gen. I had an 89 back in 89. That was my favorite of all my vehicles. I'd love to find one that's in good shape.

Beautiful interior. is your dash carpet factory or aftermarket? If aftermarket, where did you buy? I bought an aftermarket one and while i havent installed it, not if im going to likethe fitment. Yours looks to fit like factory.

The dash cover doesn't have a brand name on it, but I suspect it's aftermarket. It has little Velcro tabs to hold it in place. My dash does have a crack in it so I've got a dash cap that I have to paint to match and glue it to the original dash. It's going to have to warm up a lot more before that happens.

I need a new dash for my 2nd gen, but every used one I have found has been cracked. I have been wondering about the dash caps, but don't know anyone who has used one yet. Curious on how it looks.

Nice, how did the engine swap work out for you?
