About to get some love. 22re died on me at around 150k (cylinder 1 wall cracked all the way around) so she's getting an engine transplant from the SC400 and trans from the T100

Here's my first, hopefully of many, 4runners. 1985 with 149xxx on the ticker. I'm going to try my best to get it looking like it did off the line 32 years ago. I've just recently bought some interior pieces like new door panels, bench, and front seats. They match the overall color scheme so it's going to look nice. I'm hoping to get new bumpers, a few stock interior "extras", and eventually a new paint job with replicated decals.

1st gen green horn

Bought this 88' 22re auto yesterday. Good body and frame on her, Florida owned truck. "LE Mae" as I affectionately call my 5th gen has some company. Should I be that corny and call her Granny?
I have a lot to learn about the 1st gen. Ready to get schooled. My eyes are bleeding already.
Can't wait!!

All cleaned up. Still love this STC soft top I bought used! As you can see I locked the forward bar in place, this way putting it up and down takes moments. A decent modification.

Just picked this up as a restoration project. An '84 SR5 5 speed with 22R. Solid body/frame all around. Just some small rust here and there. Can't have enough 'Runners I guess haha.

My 1st gen has been a project since High School, recently progress has ground to a halt due to my military service, but as thats coming to an end soon, This beast will soon be getting some upgrades once again. Pictures are limited, as most of my project/build pictures are on another computer, but heres a before and after! Happy to be a part of this forum finally!

Picked up this beauty a couple weeks ago

All original interior including factory radio
Hood has been repainted (poorly)
Driver side has had minor damage repaired back in '01

This will just be a weekend play rig. Take the top off throw the kids in the
back. Ultimately OME lift with 32s and a roof rack. Want to keep it as close
to original as I can.
