20 Years of Scum

Hello T4R,
I come to you guys seeking suggestions.
'94 2nd gen lurker here, and haven't seen other threads about it...

Whilst washing it and the inside edge of doors, I came across this shit. Just a little compartment full of... compost and dirt, 20 years' worth. It's in a pretty small area and I can't quite fit my hand or a rag in there, and a shop-vac hose would be very awkward to jam in there due to a weird location. Was thinking of using long chopsticks or something, but that would take way too long.

I'd also prefer to do this without taking body panels and doors off.

Surely you could find some or make an attachment for your shopvac that would work... if not, I'd suggest pulling the fender off, even though you say that's not an option.

Close the door and blast the inner fender with the hose. If I'm seeing it right, all of that is actually on the inside bend of the lower rear part of the front fender.

I just bought a 99 4 runner that was parked under a tree I just put pressure nozzle down in that crap it ran out the bottom ,take a piece of card board and hold up against door jam to keep splash out of car

pull a few bolts out of the inner splash shield , down by the rocker , and but a garden hose in there , and let it run for 10 mins .. it will wash it out easily

Thanks. I haven't gotten around to doing it yet, but I've contacted a bro who's got a compression system. Detatching part of the splash guard/wheelwell seems pretty simple and easy, I'll tinker with it on the weekend and see what'll work.

I did a combo of all these. Just opened the door to get the best opening angle, put the hose handle on its highest pressure, and stuck it in there and let 'er rip. Blocked the spray off with a large t-shirt, no moisture got in the cabin.

All the filth ran out like a breaking levee. Haha.
