Hello all,

I have been a loyal Toyota owner for years and actually just took delivery of my new 2010 Tundra Limited Crewmax TRD and it is great and just worked a deal with that same Toyota dealer to purchase a 2000 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4X4. Question is (i had one of these years ago but traded it a few years later) this 4Runner was a one owner has 100,314 miles and all the service records. They have given me a 1,000 service credit (at Toyota dealer) is there any issue that I need replaced? they just completed today the timing belt, transmission service, front brakes and water pump so other than new floor mats it might be hard to spend 1k? Any advice is welcome and "Thanks" for a great site.

Welcome to T4R! If I was you I would have them do all the fluids...trans, transfer case, both diffs, radiator, oil, window washer, EVERYTHING! At a dealer that'll probably run you about 1k...oh, and make sure they lube both driveshafts and U-joints!

Welcome to the forum!

Also be sure to check for leaking rear axle seals. They really love to leak on our rigs after about 100k miles.
