2001 ABS wheel speed sensor

Anyone have experience dealing with the ABS? Got a 2001 and when you start, put it in drive (automatic) and take your foot off the brake, the truck will not move. Must push pass the brake resistance.
Raised the vehicle (all 4 tires) and tested. The right rear was dragging badly. Tried swapping rear wheel speed sensors and problem stayed at right rear.
Pulled ABS solenoid relay and the wheel dragging went away. Did not have any warning lights until I pulled the relay and the warning lights go away if I plug the relay back in.

I don't have any suggestions but it's probably not ABS. Unless I'm behind the times, ABS only releases brake pressure, doesn't apply it. VSC can apply brakes.

Good point. However, removing the ABS solenoid relay eliminates the problem. Does cause abs, vsc & brake light to come on.
