2001 Limited running boards removal

Just wondering if the fact that my 4runner is limited will make it harder to take the running boards off considering the trim at the bottom of the door.

Nope. The trim is attached to the doors independent of the running boards. Rip those bad boys off!

I had an 00 I took mine off a few months ago, the bolts may be rusted, mine were, had to use PB blaster.

heres a pic of my 4runner, looking for some ideas for mods. Im in college so im not exactly made of money but im looking at coil spacers and painting the wheels but cant decide between gunmetal grey and black

I've got a 97' Limited and first thing I did was rip my boards off! It's as easy as taking off like 6 or 7 bolts. Post some pictures up when you do it, man.

I think those wheels would look a bit off in black.. I would say use gun metal.
