I recently purchased a 2002 4-runner and am having major issues with it. The skid control light comes on when I try to go from a stop position and then I have no acceleration. It only happens intermittently. I've had it into Toyota and they put it on the computer but could find nothing wrong. They said it MAY be the aftermarket remote starter and removed that but the problem is still there. Another issue that I also think is related is that sometimes it over accelerates and without even touching the pedal it will run at 40 to 50 kph and I have to ride the brakes when town driving. Has anyone else experienced this and what can be done about it?
