2003 to 05 4runner air filter (V6)

I have called Kragen, Autozone, Toyota dealer and Pep Boys. It seems like most of the air filter (including the original part from Toyota) is around $25. Autozone doesn't even carry that for the V6 engine.

Are there cheaper alternatives out there?

At that price, I would rather pay double that amount and get an K&N filter instead.

Does the 03-05 V8 air filter fit into a 03-05 V6?

Autozone does carry the V8 filter at a respectable price: $13 ea.

No it does not fit the v6!! The v8 is much larger. Have you tried other toyota dealership like maybe toyota online websites.

So far, the cheapest one i found on the web site is around $22.97.

Most of the sites including Ebay only carry the filter for the V8 .

I will have to do more research and see what i can come up with.

I actually got my airfilter for my 03 V6 at Walmart. I beleive I paid 18 for it.
