Hey everyone. I just bought my first 4- runner yesterday. I got a 2004 4wd limited v8 with 88000 miles. The truck came from a dealership who inspected and maintained it. The truck is immaculate. I'm just curious as to what sort of future problems I could be looking at. I would like this truck to last me to 250,000 miles at least. I'm primarily using it to driving to and from work which is less than 5 miles. Any tips, etc would be greatly appreciated!

i recommend a search thru some threads for things like: 4wd acuator, frozen brake calipers, sunroof leak, exhaust manifold leak,driveline clunk, JBL problems, the sticky's, etc. but you can start with this. http://www.toyota-4runner.org/maintenance/59462-maintenance-diys-faqs.html
