2004 Toyota 4Runner Sport V8 135k miles located in West Windsor NJ 9k OBO
I am posting here first so hopefully this truck goes to an enthusiast. I bought this truck in 2016 off my uncle the original owner with 55k miles it was his second vehicle and not driven much except for family trips when my cousins were young. Since early 2017 it has been doing my 40 mile each way commute to work up the NJ Turnpike. So almost all miles since I bought it have been highway.
I planned on keeping it forever but unfortunately family/ job situation has changed and a promotion led to a further commute so I have to get something more fuel efficient.
The truck cleans up and runs really well but does have some rock chips etc from highway driving and a few small scratches.
The good:
1. Icon stage 2 kit installed at around 100k miles when I discovered the xreas system was leaking. Also installed were aftermarket 17x10 trd pro wheels and currently has 285 nitto ridge grapplers.
2. Timing belt waterpump etc replaced at 93k
3. Alternator and brake lines replaced at 128k miles
4. Pioneer avic 5200nex head unit with nav and upgraded speakers (forget the brand but nothing crazy)
5. All regular maintenance performed as scheduled
The bad:
1. It needs a catback..has exhaust leaks on driver side y pipe and right behind the muffler. I figured instead of replacing it with something I like the new owner can replace it with what they want.
2. Has a nickel size chip on the windshield from a rock
3. It's an NJ car the frame does have some rust. I've seen much worse but unfortunately that's what happens when you live in the Northeast.
The pictures posted are as it sits not cleaned up or anything. Unfortunately I had to attach screen shots. I will try to clean it up this week and get some better pics but my work schedule has been hectic.
