I have owned my 2004 Sport Edition for a little over 4 years now and have loved every mile we've accumulated during that time. The only bit of maintenance I have needed to do was regular oil changes and a new set of tires last weekend. I've loved the 4Runner since the mid-late '80's when I first saw a 1st gen with the top off loaded for a day at the beach. I knew that one day I would be driving one of those! That was made so about 4 years ago. Along I went enjoying my stock '04 without thinking much in the way of mods...
Back in Jan I was able to obtain another one of my motoring passions. A 2013 Corvette. I LOVE the look and lines of the Corvette! So, I had the 4Runner as my "daily driver" and the 'Vette as my "weekend toy". Not long after getting the 'Vette did the mod bug bite me, and hard! After months, and thousands, went into modding the 'Vette I found this forum and realized I could spread the love to my other 'ride' as well. So, last weekend it started. On Friday I had a new set of Fuel Trophy wheels and some 33" Firestone Destination A/T tires mounted. I also got it lifted 2.5" front and 1.5" rear along with a set of KYB shocks all around. The new stance and ride is awesome! And it's renewed my passion for this "daily driver"! Today I am getting the bull and nerf bars installed then heading to the tint shop to get that done, too!
