2005 purchase advice

Hi, I'm looking at a 2005 limited 4x4, with all the bells and whistles (nav, backup cam, jbl, towing pkg, side steps, etc. it has 155,000 miles, one owner and it was in Ohio for most of its life, and Florida the last two years. There's a small ding by the hood, the timing belt needs to be replaced, and there's rust on the frame from snow. The rust is my main concern, I can do the rest myself. I'm wondering what kind of experience anyone has with rust, and if this is restorable. The car is worth 7700 in good condition on kbb, i offered 6. Is this amount of rust repairable? how about more pics, any holes in the frame?, the posted pic seems like surface rust only, but do get underneath and poke aroud, look for areas that can collect salt debris?. 6k would be awesone deal if rust is not too bad

Doesn't look any worse than mine, and I'm still residing in the rust belt. Like other poster said, it looks like surface rust, but looks can be deceiving. Poke at it with something in various spots and make sure it's still solid under there.

Wire wheel it all off and treat it if you decide to pick it up.
