Fellow toyota 4runner fans:
I am not only new to this website but also to the 4runner family. Years ago, a good friend of mine first showed my his titanium silver 3rd gen (2000) 4Runner. It was a manual transmission and he had put quite a bit of time into making it look nice. I caught the Yota bug, which naturally led my car search in that direction. Last July, I was lucky enough to buy a 2006 galactic grey 4runner, V6 SR5 model. I have always had an interest in working on my cars, but have been hard pressed for time to do so being a busy college student. After coming back home (Seattle, WA) for the Holidays, I have finally been able to make some time to work on my 4Runner. I decided to make a build thread here to start tracking my progress, and hopefully to gain some valuable knowledge from you other 'Runner enthusiasts. Cheers!
Current mods:
Removed running boards
Installed new aftermarket Kenwood stereo
Future mods:
Plasti dip emblems, badges, wheels
Tint windows
Install Alpine Type R 12" subwoofer in trunk (ported enclosure, mono amp)
Smoke taillights
Toytec 3" lift
Remove factory pin stripe
