Hi Guys, this is my first post - getting ready for the first oil change on my new to me 2006 V6 2wd 4Runner, does someone have the torque spec for the oil plug handy? The way I figure it is I have a torque wrench so I might as well use it!

I did the search BTW, only found values for the V8.

30 ft/lbs, 40n/m according to the 06 service manual. For some bizarre reason the V8 engine calls for 29 ft/lbs and 39n/m not that it matters. Who has a torque wrench that could hit that close anyways...

Thanks Dude, that will come in handy. Makes you wonder where they come up with these numbers, that 1ftlb means something to someone (better buy a $500 torque wrench to be able to tell the difference......)
