2007 4runner rear 3rd member questions

I have a 2007 SR5 Sport with noise in the rear. After listening to it, it is in the 3rd member. Is there any way to tell the ratio before I pull it? I am looking for a used open 8" I am guessing 3.73? Any way to know for sure?

Call ECGS. You can get a new, high quality 3rd with a 5 year warranty for right around $700. They'll also be able to tell you what ratio is correct for your application.
