2008 4runner v6 Limited / Beep before or after start

Hello everyone

I have a question about a "beep" when I start in 2008 4runner v6 limited.

The acquired few weeks ago and all well done, was the natural replacement for a 2003 v6 with 1g faith also, but this newest brings A750F and get better MPG, plus power seats, etc ...

But ... when I brought her home, did a maintenance fluid and filter
engine oil, air filter, cabin filter, and spark plugs ... all in accordance with FSM.

All the procedure are made in the same day and to prevent anything I did with the battery disconnected (GND) (-)

(All that we do a couple of times with the 2003 and nothing happened)

After concluding, assemble everything, I walk and immediately (and since) part all ok, systems, there is no witness extra light all "normal" except that beep, short but very annoying and I also scared thinking it can be something "wrong".

On matters of time I have not even thinking take some more specific, almost always try to do DIY.

Just guessing. When you changed out the coolant, did you "burp" the system to get all of the air out and then top it off? Maybe a sensor thinks the coolant level is low.

Thanks for reply, newly edit the post to add a link to youtube and I noticed he had written to replace the coolant being that was not, sorry I was wrong , it was all I just check the level and was ok

now gives me the impression that beep if you can hear in the video is something related to the immobilizer or something like that :snacker:

Geez. I listened to the sound on your video about half a dozen times and have absolutely no clue. Never heard anything like it before. Is it coming from under the dash?

Maybe it is related to the immobilizer as you suggest. Perhaps 4Runners destined for Chile have something special going on. It might be okay as is.

Some normal sounds before start up might include the ABS or fuel pump, but they don't sound like the sound in your video (at least not in my truck).

Maybe BlackWorks or someone else in the forum might see this and chime in with an idea. Good luck and all the best.

Thanks for the reply, is something that has me with questions, but does not affect ANYTHING to the vehicle or on their performance, is tedious hear once you insert the key you get to ON, and sounds, if you go to START fast will sound one second after you turn the engine .....
If I disconnect the battery, nothing happens again look like ....

Launch these errors a reading with OBDII? eep:

man I wish I could help.. Does this truck maybe have an aftermarket car alarm? Just that I've never heard that sound coming from a 4runner..

problem solved !,
was an aftermarket product that had left the previous owner ( first, I am the second)
parrot system ( Bluetooth for phone ... ) , well the system was incomplete , missing a connector ...
disconnect the battery when the system is reset and gave off a sound !!! , come to the following noise and I noticed it was right behind the heating controls .

take when replacing ampules of that panel to disconnect the system

now everything works normal!
