Edit: Sorry I found this, it looks like the exhaust tip can burn people if they touch it, and like every other vehicle there is a Takata Air-Bag issue that will have to be replaced.

I have a 2011 Limited. The only issue I have is that the driver side power window controls don't always work and that the hill-start assist is finicky. But yes, if the passenger airbag hasn't been replaced, get that done ASAP.

My 2010 has been FLAWLESS with 95,000 miles. Anything that’s needed replacing is routine and minimal. This has been the best vehicle I’ve owned and literally drives better than new at this age.

Call your local Toyota dealer with the VIN for the airbag recall. Otherwise enjoy years on years of driving pleasure.

A 2010 is definitely old enough at this point to have rust issues underneath if it has lived in the north for its whole life.

Check every single switch and knob and look for leaks.

On my limited, I have had the hatch struts replaced and I recently was diagnosed with a leaking steering rack. Here's what it looks like:

This is not common.. call it bad luck

Yup, both of these for mine too. PS rack is not a cheap-o.

It was clear the previous owner kept my 2010 outside and it’s not in bad shape at all with regards to rust. It’s never struck me as a concern but YMMV.

The steering rack is interesting. Any symptoms of this?

Outward symptom? Nothing at all for me, discovered during OC. I drove it another 5K without incident, and it never took the fluid below the add line. Cleaned it up before I traded it. Replacement estimate was ~$2K.

There was just a 2010 TE for sale here recently (seems to be deleted now). It had lived in the Northeast, and the frame was pretty eaten up with rust. It was surprising how much rust it had underneath. He was asking $14k.
