2011 Audi S5

Yup, i need to check the system out. I am fearing that B&O is becoming the high-end BOSE...more styling than substance. I sure hope not...they make amazing amplifiers to go along with their speakers. The speakers really play loud (esp. the tweeters!), but i got to wonder about the detailing of the song. Most of their speakers seem a bit harsh at high frequencies (again, those tweeters!)...at least their home speakers.

Im going to have to agree with you. If anything the system sounds tinny (is that a word lol) I have only listened to sirius and HD radio but the songs lack depth.

There are a total of 15 speakers, 6 of which are tweeters lol.

I got to drive it a bit yesterday, putting it in dynamic mode the car drives like an animal. Cars like this like to be "driven", local easy driving makes it do some funky thinks especially in dynamic mode.

That was my problem when I had my M3. It is hard to find a place to go fast, esp. In the city. So, I got bored with it fast because I could not get the most out of it. Same with my Mercedes G...no quick off-road place.

B&O is like MB Quart...they attempt to get details out of a song by blasting the tweeters, which does work to some extent but it makes your ears suffer from music "fatigue" fast. This is where BOSE works because it plays everything at even tone ("no highs, no lows, must be BOSE")...so, for all that is bad with BOSE, it does not fatigue your ears with extentded listening.
