Any Mid-Atlantic 4Runners want to do some off roading at Rausch Creek PA?

My off roading club (Off-Camber Crawlers) are planning an open event for the weekend of May 5th and 6th (I'll be there Friday afternoon). Don't forget to get on our mailing list to be kept informed of future events.

Open event means you don't have to be a member to attend, and it would be great if I wasn't the only 4Runner in attendance.

There is basic camping at Rausch Creek, and some motels close to the area. I'm still undecided if I'm going to rough it, or stay in a motel.

Here's a link to some pictures/movies of our last trip - 2011-10-01 OCC Trip To Rausch Creek

My rig is stock so if i can id like to get a ride with somebody

Not a problem. You can ride with me, but mine is also just stock suspension, with BFG A/Ts 31X10.5, and I can go most places the Rubicons do. Some places there are cut-outs if you don't feel you can make it.

Some of the Jeep guys plan on hitting the blacks, but most of us just ride the blues, and watch them trash their rigs on the blacks....LOL.

Shhh - don't tell my wife!

As the weekend of the 5th gets closer PM me, and I'll provide my info. In the meantime if you are going to do any wheeling - if you don't already have one - get a CB radio.

Check out our website for necessary trail/safety gear you will need to have with you. Most of it's common sense stuff like a first aid kit, fire extinguisher...etc.

Rausch Creek is a lot of fun, and a great place to learn everything from the basics to the very advanced wheeling.

Come on guys -- I see there are some local 4Runners (York PA, Arlington VA). You're not afraid to get your nice shiny 4Runners a little dirty.

Hmmm, that's pretty cool. I haven't heard of OCC. Throw it up on Northeast 4Runner Owners Association on Facebook and I guarantee you'll get some hits.

I'm tempted. I'll have my sliders by then :hungry:

:bigok:

We already have 10 vehicles signed up to go. Think I'll just camp there and sleep in my 4Runner.

Some of the guys are bring their kids as this is always a family friendly event.

If you haven't wheeled at Rausch Creek before it's a lot of off roading fun!

I'm hoping to have my tube bumper on by Tuesday!
