2013 Classics Trip

It is never to early to start planning so.......let's get this started. First order of business is picking a location and some dates. As with the Moab Trip throw your dates out there that you would like to see and I will update the Suggested Date List. Same with Suggested Location.

Also, I would really like to advertise this to the other generations a little earlier this year. If there are some real heart burns with this, then please let me know. If we get a large response from the other generations then I will ask a Mod to change the title and maybe even sub forum location.

Ouray - Kid V
Rubicon - Kid V / MP / ToyoTech
Moab II - FOG / MP / KidV
Fort Wayne - Iroke
Death Valley - KidV
Rausch Creek - Riff Raff
Bardstown KY - Riff Raff
Wheeling in CO - FOG / SV / Burningair
Empty Field in backyard of UT - mike

I guess this means you're keeping your 4runner too? haha.

I'll be damned if I miss out on this trip. I'm down for pretty much any date after April next year. Location doesn't matter too much as long as it's not a 1000+ mile drive from Colorado. There is always some good wheeling here! If we choose to do something in Colorado that is somewhat local to Colorado springs, there is always free lodging at my place :D Or we can do some camping too which is always good.

Let me know if you need the thread re-named or moved.
 
Going north would have been fun, but Bob says he's moving and that would suck to go up there without him. There's the Ouray/Uncompaghre region that I've been dying to get to, and there's lots more to do and see in and around Canyonlands.

Or there's northern California. Rubicon, baby.
 
You beat me to it Helo! I was going to start this thread after New Years.

I've thought about this quite a bit and I suggest a Moab II trip. I was thinking we could do something around Columbus day weekend (10-11-13 thru 10-20-13) again. I am certainly not opposed to a Colorado trip for obvious reasons, but I want to be fair to all involved as far as distance to location is involved.

Yeah I wanted to make sure we had something in the works. If things go according to plan, this will be my last trip for a little while. We are looking at at a transfer to somewhere in Alaska in the summer of 2014.
 
Ill just kinda hang out and see what you guys come up with on this one. I'm going to school and trying to mod two cars with the reserve money I have along with selling another. probably won't have a job til May, so I can't expect to afford a trip yet.

Trying to get a custom build done for an event July 14-16 in St. Louis.
 
The problem with the middle of the US is that's Nebraska/Kansas. There's really no wheeling there, least not as I understand the term.

You should totally get an Eastern meet going, though. I can't guarantee I'll make the drive, but I'd be happy to try.
