Seriously I've got to get my shiat together. This would be a great opportunity to put forum names to faces and wheel some awesome terrain. I'm sure I could even meet up and caravan down with some of you NW Americans.

I'm a big fat maybe. Kinda depends if I can get the time off. Luckily its only a 5.5-6 hr drive for me. Maybe I can convince the boss to make it a business trip :thumb3:

The idea of camping with that many people doesn't sound really great to me, and the BFE area isn't exactly scenic (although I can't think of a better place to have that many people camp in one spot). If I go I'll hang out at BFE, but probly camp elsewhere.

I agree on that part, but It was pretty fun last year. Me and the NM guys just found a corner of BFE (kinda by that waterfall in the southern part if you know where that is) but the rest of the guys had a great time. There were bonfires and we would all just hang out.

If we got bored at camp there were a lot of trails around BFE to explore too.

I agree on that part, but It was pretty fun last year. Me and the NM guys just found a corner of BFE (kinda by that waterfall in the southern part if you know where that is) but the rest of the guys had a great time. There were bonfires and we would all just hang out.

Are there any beginners going to this? I saw there are a lot of moderate trails listed in the first post but I'm no where near the level of some guys here.

I'm a beginner too. But it's only going to be a 6 hour drive for me.

Beginners are more than welcome, you will learn so much in those 4 days! All the challenging obstacles will have spotters and you can have one if you ever need one just holler on the CB.

I was what I would call a beginner last year, on day-1 I went on one of the easy trail run groups and hit a few of the optional obstacles and really learned how to pick lines, control throttle & brakes, how fast to go, etc.. By the end of the trip I had done stuff I would have never attempted on day 1.

Just as you are following people watch what lines they take and think to yourself why they took that line and how it helped or hurt them.

I'm a beginner as well. I've been wheeling a good amount, but not in the rocks. As Ripcord said, there are a ton of people who are willing and wanting to help. Just don't head out with the SAS guys and you'll be good. I hope a good amount of T4R guys can make it. I'm not sure where I'll camp, but probably with the NorCal guys (if we have many). I plan on meeting up with everyone though and it'd be sweet to get a giant T4R pic together.

I'm down for a t4r trail run. Should be fun and a good warm up for the other days. I was thinking a t4r group pic could take over the existing banner. Nothing like Moab and lifted 4runners. Only 4 more months to go. Good thing though since I need to save up and buy some stuff for the trip.

The Overland Expo is May 17-19 in Flagstaff, I'll definitely be going to that. Depending on how much funds I save up before then, I'll just hang out and explore around Arizona and Utah for 2 weeks and meet up with all of you on the 29th. It would be awesome to meet and wheel with all of you!

CB radio and firestick antenna
Fix loose tie rod
get an alignment
Replace leaky front shock
(If I have some money left over...doubtful) get a light bar fab'd to front bumper and throw on some PIAA 5293 520 Series lamps.

-Spare CV's (Hopefully can find some at Pick-N-Pull for $25 each)
-Tow/Snatch Straps
-33's (Either find a 4th or might get a complete set)
-Install Jlee's Elite bumper and modify BudBuilt
-Hanma 3x3 lights
-Extra Fluids
-Figure out a spare tire carrier option
-Possibly replace LBJ's

That's the short list, but I should be able to get most of the stuff. I'm sure there will be other stuff, but I can pick that up as I go. I'd love to get/fab a rear bumper before then, but I doubt it will happen.
