2013 T4R Brand New - Rattle/Crank noise

Hey everyone,

I'm new to this forum, but I've been reading it for a while. I just got a 2013 4Runner SR5 brand new and within the first week I started hearing this noise.

It happens when I'm breaking and going 1-2MPH in Drive or Reverse. In neutral it goes away. It only happens when I've been driving for a while and the truck is fully warmed up. The dealer replaced the front exhaust thinking it would fix the problem, but it's still there. I'm really annoyed as it sounds terrible and I didn't expect this out of a Toyota.

Has anyone had this issue or know what it might be?

The check engine and TRAC OFF light just came on.

Have the codes read. If I were you I'd just take it back to the dealer and ask to exchange it for another. These things don't normally happen with a Toyota.

have you got rid of then noise my did it and now its fixed.

they put in new rubber hangers, new muffler, new y pipe but only because the stipped the bolt where the two springs go in wo the y pipe i have all the part #'s if anyone wants them.
