My 2012 Golf had DRL/Highbeams. They were a dual filament bulb (H15)
It was really annoying because only 1 company made them, so you were pretty much stuck with dim/brown DRLS. Hopefully the new 4nrs don't use them.

First 2014 at the delaership here.
The Predator front-end is going to take some time to get used to, but a white TE is pretty nice, especially with black leather/red stitching interior.

It really does look like a storm trooper. Its slowly growing on me, but I don't think it will ever get all the way there. I feel like Toyota really polarized the looks with this refresh and hopefully that keeps the resale values stable. If all they did was refresh the interior, those of us with a 2013 or older model would be in trouble. The 100 series LC comes to mind with this. The used price difference between a 2002 and a 2003 with the newer interior and 1 more gear in the transmission is quite large. Regardless of the looks I am still extremely jealous of the new interior and that you can now get a Trail in white. Also, a lot of these camera phone pics manage to make the refresh look better than the official launch did

Funny how that works, eh? Every picture on Toyota's site looks like it has been through about a half dozen instagram filters. They always seem to use red in their launch photos and just screw it up with a poorly done HDR effect. The TE launched in white or gray would have been smarter and the LE launched in white just makes it look enormous. Black or blue would have been a better call.

It will be interesting to see the TE with an aftermarket front bumper. I might actually like it then.

I think the white one is the Trail Ed.
