Hahaha caught red handed.
IMHO, the first 'ugly' photos of the 2014 are correct that they dont look too good, Try this: gaze at your 2014 from afar, say 30 or 50 feet away), and thats what the photos looks like, but if you look at it up close,the 2014 definitely looks more than awesome.
some ideas im thinking of to correct this 'look' from afar
* wider or more aggressive tires to compensate for the 'wide-aggressive' frontal look
* horizontal chrome grille or sheet about the same height as the limited chrome to cover about half or 1/3 of the black grille.(look at the Limited to see what i mean)
*plasti-dip the front chin or bumper a different color
*add fog lights over the black grille.
* replace the stock bumper with a aggressive after-market bumper.

that is cold..reminds me of saskatchewan, where i was an exchange student long time ago. it was -40 there. BTW, some of my ancestors were cowboys and U.S. rodeo champion from Montana and ND.

Do those Cooper ST MAXX in 265s have a white lettered side? Kinda picky I know but I love the look of white side out.

yes they do have a white letter side, i debated on mounting them on the outside... a buddy was giving me $hit about it, so i put them on the inside

switch left of the steering wheel will turn it on/off. i leave mine off.
gets annoying when i park in the garage as i eyeball it with the wall outlet next to the drivers door. all i have to do to park is to make sure i have direct horizontal line of sight to the wall outlet when i turn my head left to know i have 1 ft in front clearance and 2-3 ft clearance in the back so i can open the back door to unload during the winter.

Seems like a pretty cool gadget to have esp for the front bumper when trying to parallel park.
The rear camera is really all I need. I find that I get spoiled with the rear camera because when I drive my gf's suv and try to parallel park, I find it so much more difficult without it.

trying to adjust from the 12 tacoma backup camera to the 14 4Runner backup camera is going to take some getting use to. the angle of view is way steeper in the 4Runner compared to the tacoma.
i can see like 8+ feet behind the tacoma easy in the camera, the 4Runner is probably 6 feet.

Got our new 4runner last week. Swapped out the 20s for 2014 FJ cruiser rims and tires the next day. Planning a trip to Colorado later this month can't wait to take it on some trails.

Very nice. Those wheels look great on mag gray. I just cannot bring myself to like the LE's wheels. Actually turned me off to the '10 LE. Now I know how easy that is to fix.
