Well I've had my 4R about 2 months now and have had the itch to begin modding... Subtle mods at first, but lots of ideas in mind. This forum is going to get me in trouble!

No, you will need a M8-1.25 set screw to make enough clearance.

It's satin black automotive wrap vinyl. I had it done here locally at Deviate Autosport

I've gotten a lot of questions regarding my shift knob... I may have to do a Write-Up. Perhaps one evening this week or this weekend.

Basically, you screw in a "Set Screw" into the shift knob thread. Then screw it on. The purpose of the set screw is because the TRD knob is too tall, and when screwed all the way into the 4Runner, you will not be able to shift from PARK to REVERSE. The set screw acts as a "lifter".

Looks awesome, recommend Phillips LED fogs to more closely match your low beams.

When I put the TRD shift knob on my 2014 TE I didn't have to use a set screw, it just screwed on tight with no clearance problems. About a 30 second mod.
