2014 4runners SR5 and Trail, haven't seen any on the streets

I am constantly looking, but have only seen two 2014 limited models, but never seen another 2014 sr5 or trail, besides mine. Seen plenty at dealerships, but not on the street. Makes me think if these new models just are not that popular because of the new style. I only commute 4 miles each way to work so I'm not driving much.

Come to Colorado! I see a bunch of the facelift driving around. Mostly Limited's, some SR5's and 1 Trail (Silver-P). Although I was disappointed because I took my '12 Trail to the PNW last May and saw 1 other 5th gen. The guy didn't even wave -ass- (it was even a trail). The looks of the '14 don't seem to discourage sales around here and I believe that the overall sales are just as strong.

I honestly don't see that many 5th Gens period. A handful I've seen here in San Diego look like they are driven by soccer moms or teenage girls. Honestly it's the same in Phoenix too, at least on the west side. I have driven past a few and gotten some interesting reactions in comparing how mine looks to theirs though.

I live north of seattle and have a ten min commute in the mornings. In the last two mornings on my way home I have seen one 14 Trail in white and two 14 SR5's one white and one mag grey. I usually see a handful of 5th gens daily around here. There is another blizzard pearl 14 limited that is now showing up on my floor of the parking garage at work. And it's true no one waves unless modded it seems. I'm a 4Runner waver/pointer!

I've seen a handful of 14s north, too. I'm up in Lynnwood. White and mag grey 14s, Sr5 and limited fairly often. I have not seen any 14Trails on the road. I don't see Trails often at all, maybe one a month if that.

Only two TE's to look at in STL when I began my search. Ended up across the Mississippi in Illinois where I found two more to choose from. Both premium packages. So I bought the grey. I was looking for almost 2 months before I bought.

I picked up a Silver TE (non-kdss) a couple weeks ago. I live near and work in CLE. Haven't seen any other 14 TEs yet, but perhaps I'll see yours soon.

I have been spending too much time reading on this t4r.org porn site getting ideas on mods and am getting ready to make some changes in the near future.

Oddly enough, Houston has quite a few. As far as Trail's go, I've seen only 2013 and prior years, but I see 2014 SR5's and Limiteds everyday.

About the waving thing - I only wave if the 4Runner is modded (same in my Land Cruiser). If it's modded then I know he's 'one of us'. If it's stock, chances are to them it's "just a car". Waving at somebody in a bone-stock rig would make me feel like weird creeper

I've spotted several of them around here. Even saw a white TE the other day. But, what I've really noticed since I bought mine a year and a half ago is all the older 4runners on the streets. I mean all the way back to the gen 1. They're all over the place!

I've seen a several here on the mean streets of Los Angeles. Mostly a mix of SR5's and LE's. Haven't seen a TE yet.

When I was driving my Subaru WRX, I constantly got waves or nods of approval from other Subaru (Impreza) drivers. It definitely felt like being part of an unofficial club. Not so much with the 4Runner. When I finally saw another 2014 on the road, it was obvious the middle-aged woman driving wasn't interested in any friendly exchange. Still waiting to cross paths with another 2014 TE owner.

Overall, here in Phoenix, I see plenty of earlier 5th gens. Unfortunately most of them are Limiteds being driven by some princess on her way to the mall.
