Or just sack up and do your own retrofit for $500 and get amazing light output from a D2S.

I mostly agree. I did my own retro for my 2010. I'm pretty sure I spent over $500. I spent like $300 off the bat for an extra set of headlights to work on.

Totally agree, I'd also suggest what the end goal is, aesthetics or output performance? If it were my money, I'd opt for better light output over groovy led lights for 'looks'. But then again, the 5th gen scene is different than us old 4th gen crowd.

I’d be happy with just blacked out housings and hid. However, I don’t have the motivation to retrofit my own lights. As for light output, I have enough secondary lights to make that a moot point.
So these lights are right up my alley.
As for 10 percent discount dot Tom is offering is better than what other members do here....pocket it as their commission as shills. That’s why I appreciate what he is doung for us, it may not be much of a discount, but it’s better than the alternative (pocketing it)

It would be fantastic if someone would do a comparison (at night). Especially with XD HID vs. these XB LED headlights. I like them, but not enough to go in blind.
ray:Just purchased from XenonDepot using dot_tom's discount code. Don't feel like ****ing around with group buys that tend to lead to delays and complications along the way.
They're like $500-700 cheaper than Kustom54 so I'm good with the price.
As long as the light output is noticeably better than OEM, I'll be happy since these are the only lights that look like they could have come from the factory.
Wallet isn't happy, but oh well!

So I went to buy them with DotToms discount code and it went through but the system hung up when placing the order. Called XD spoke to some guy reading from a script couldn't fart unless it was in the script. Couldn't help me with the order online so I simply said let's order on the phone. 20 minutes into this he said the discount doesn't apply as it's on sale. Claims checked with manager and nope, no deal. Said screw it and hung up.
Created a new XD account, had the order placed with discount code in less than a minute! Xenon, your phone guy says the web guys are not connected with you?? Anyway I wasted an hour from my life with an incompetent numscull

Just received an email that these are backordered
"Estimated ship date: 7/5/2019"
So that's a bummer. Who knows when it'll actually ship.
Credit card payment wasn't working when I ordered but Paypal worked.

Yeah, mixed info. When I ordered an hour ago they were in stock. At least the guy on the phone said so. He must have read I called him a numscull and now just got an email shipping 2nd week of August. Kinda BS they took my money but won't ship for 2 weeks

Just got an email from Morimoto saying that the first round is limited to 50 headlights. Looks like folks will be waiting for these for a while :lmao:
