Our supply trailer ( on my rig) ended upside down in a ravine and it took three days to get it out. Also both front tires were flat as well as bot trailer tires.

What?! No pics of an upside down trailer on the trail?! I'd like to hear how the tent held up. And the recovery story...it's gotta be good!

The tent never got opened, but it definitely has bent hinges. We didn't take many pics...the mood really was down. There was a real sense that we were in danger, considering that we were so far out from any one and right on the Texas/ Mexico border. The park roads ended 4 hours back. We later learned that we were the first crew to attempt this pass in almost 3 years.

The whole story is a great adventure story ( now that I am home safe with my kids in one piece) Hopefully we will have a chance to visit.

Well after thinking and doing my research, I finally pulled the trigger on my ICON stage 7 upgrade. Should be delivered in about 3 more weeks.

After reading what everybody said about Icon suspension, I thought the on road ride would feel better or somewhat similar to XREAS, and it didn't. It's not bad, it just didn't meet my expectations. I somewhat wish I would've done the Icon lift with KDSS, but then I would do without all the nice Limited amenities. No regrets here though [emoji16]

Congrats!!! Did you get your engine figured out from the flood?

Just about....just dropped her off this am. The steering wheel felt loose6. It seemed like there was a jiggling sound in the steering column. Have no idea what it could be, but I guess we will soon know.

So, I got tired of crushing my tailpipe.....had to have it cut off. Ripleys Mufflers here in Houston cut out everything from the back of muffler to tailpipe. They built a custom route so that it came strait down perpendicular to the ground. It sticks out about 3/4 of an inch lower than my SW rear bumper now. They increased to a larger black tip and now it sounds just mean!

Basically a stage 2, but I pieced it together on a Black Friday sale.

Icon extended travel front coilovers with remote reservoirs
Icon overland rear springs
Icon 2.0 rear shocks with remote reservoirs

The ride is fine, I guess I expected too much from reading reviews. I expected to feel less body roll than it has. I like it, and the ride feels pretty close to stock Limited ride, just with a tad more body roll.

Anyway, how much did it cost you to do that muffler job? I might be interested in doing the same thing down the road.

One other thing. Did you drill holes into your front SW bumper to fit the parking sensors, or did it come from SW like that?

The muffler re route was only a couple hundred dollars. SW produced the bumper with the holes pre drilled at my request

In regards to my prior question about the parking sensors, are you able to provide me some details on how those sensors are mounted in the bumper please? I know you didn't install it, but if you can take a look at it, any information on that would be useful.

I just installed my Demello bumper, and it didn't come with holes drilled for the sensors, and I'm unsure about what will work to mount these properly. I don't want to drill a hole in my new bumper, and it be wrong. I'm really looking for the size of the hole, and how the sensors are held in the hole.
