Fun Facts:
I always imagined this car to be waterproof for surfing, hence the overkill on the liners and seat covers. Sadly it never saw water. If you want to remove the seat covers the original black seats would be brand new. Only the driver’s seat cover has seen any mileage, they look pristine. I’m willing to ‘part out’ on most items, one member has registered interest in the Wet Okeles so feel free to indicate any requests in the comments. Would prefer to sell as a package though. I’ve always loved the color as it reminds me of old land cruisers and feels punchier with the added black accents. You get stopped a lot asking where you had it painted (at least in LA).
I read about a T4R member who had their quicksand totaled by another driver, they managed to find a replacement in new condition. I hope this magnificent desert bull can find an equally serendipitous or inspiring next home with someone who will get it out to see the world.
