2016 TRDPro Cargo Tray Remove

Hello,

Could some one help direct me to a forum where some one has done a write up on removing a sliding cargo tray? I ordered mine without one, but they decided to include it for me anyways. I would love to have the normal flat back after I took the slide tray out, so if anyone has a part number for that it would also be appreciated. Thank you!

There is nothing special about the TRD PRO cargo tray or that it is a 2016 model. Here is a write up from 2010 on a Limited that should help http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/60105-removed-rear-sliding-tray-5th-gen-limited.html as there is no difference in your 2016 versus his 2010 with respect to the cargo area.

Is it possible to refit a cargo tray in a 5th Gen that originally was not equipped with one? If so, is it worth the effort?

How is it that he could start a new thread with 6 posts? I thought the forum had a 15 post requirement to avoid threads like this...

It's only a 5 post requirement for Pro owners.

Grandfather Clause. If someone had any posts, even one, before August 2015 then they use the old forum rules of starting a thread with no limitations. You can imagine how hard it would be (tech and ethically) to make a policy retroactive like that.

Can we make it 50 posts?:deadhorse:

For a few people it should be 500.

C'mon man. Work with me here lol.

Haha sheesh! I've been lurking for quite some time on these forms having owned a 2003 before my TRDPro that I actually got today. I did see that post but didn't know if there was any difference, thank you for clarification. Thank you for all the responses. I will reframe from beating this horse anymore. :bolt:
