2017 Cement TRD Pro Build Thread

Mind if I ask - why the covers? Are they water proof?
Easier to clean?

I surf and camp, so it's nice to keep the seats protected. Keeps the heat off of them in the summer and warmer in the winter as well. Yes they are waterproof and very comfortable. Plus its an added stylistic touch to make it a little more unique, but mainly for the function.

Excellent thread, you guys are giving me some great mod ideas. I picking up my Cement TRD Pro next week. Trading in my beloved 15 Black TRD Pro. Can't believe how hard these Pros are getting to obtain new. When I bought my black one back in December of 14 the dealer had a couple sitting on the lot. I actually went in to the toyota dealer to buy a Black TRD Pro Tacoma and my dealer Said they would have some in a couple of months, but pointed out the Black and White TRD 4Runners he just got in. One test drive and I was sold. Best decision, nothing against the tacomas but these TRD PROs are fantastic.

Just took delivery of my Cement Gray last month. I live in SoCal, but bought from a dealer near Phoenix. I flew out to AZ with a friend and we put quite a bit of off-road miles on the car bringing it back to CA (Bradshaw Trail, Red Canyon Jeep Trail, and Burns Canyon). It was an awesome trip and the TRD Pro was great.

My buddy put this little video together using his GoPro:

Now the only thing left is I'd really like to add a slide-out rear tray (the car I ordered had the slide-out deck, but the dealer gave that car to someone else). Anyone here want to swap rear cargo pieces?

Picked up my TRD PRO a few days ago. Already came with a few accessories that I'm happy to have, in fact if given the choice I would of odered with all these upgrades. Preditor Step Bars, 2 in 1 LED Fog lights, Rear sliding cargo deck, Paint protection Package, Roof rack cross bars, Cargo cover, and USB Charger Package. I have Toytech front lift kit and Wheelers T13 rear Springs ordered. Thinking about adding the SSO slim bumper Guard with light bar but waiting for my wallet to recover from the puchase. Looking forward to a mild build. In the meantime I'm enjoying the New car smell.

How did u decide which setup and who did I buy from...

Love your suspension setup. I've got a 2017 barcelona red trd pro RCI skids and sliders and will add the sso slimline front bumper and a winch. Prob 140lbs upfront. I'm looking at king vs Fox for a suspension upgrade I'll need to chat with a tech in the know who will be able to help me pick out the appropriate upgrade. Trucks not my daily but weekend explorer/winter weather driver. I spend some time on the beach with it and some modest off roading. Planning a 20 day trek out to moab/Arizona/CO next late spring.

Liking the cement!!
