Some pics to help people see the color. There is a slight metallic if you get close. Love the color!

Installed full LED cab conversion. Simple, inexpensive, and well worth your time.

HID Kit came in as well. I hope to have that done by the end of the week.

Any specific brand you recommend for the led conversion ?

I had a 2013 FJTT in Cement. It didn't have any metallic. Love the color!
Let us know if you see it change slightly in color in different light.....

Love the color on your T4R. :clap2:

Looks good. I need to start a build thread I mine. What led kit did you go with and where did you find the overlays. I have a hard time justifying nox ones since we just need the rear.

There are a few companies that have kits or you can buy individually if you want. XenonDepot is a trusted vendor from T4R, here's a link to their site.

XenonDepot | 2017 Toyota 4Runner HID Kits | Replacement Bulbs | LED Lighting

I got mine from Precision LED. I wouldn't say that they are bad, but I had issues with my order. I placed the order and the box showed up with my name on it but had another customers order in it. Then they sent the replacement but they forgot the reverse lights and sent them later.

They do have good products and quality lights. I chose them because they had a full kit with add ons ready to go. Plus they have the tools needed for the install. If you decide on another company you should still look up their install video. They show you where/how to remove parts etc. Made the install that much easier.

I got the LED kit from Precision LED - Car LED Lights - Interior LED Lights For Cars

Ordered the 4300k HID kit from XenonDepot - XenonDepot | 2017 Toyota 4Runner HID Kits | Replacement Bulbs | LED Lighting

I got the overlay kit from this site:

Search Results - TRDparts4u accessories for your Toyota car, truck, 4x4 or SUV with Genuine Toyota and offroad specialty parts.

Was cheaper than other places I looked. I would recommend as an easier and more permanent solution than plastidip.

Also, if you wouldn't mind rating the thread when you get a chance I would appreciate it. I will do my best to update and respond in a timely manner.

If any of you end up in the SoCal / Long Beach / OC / Etc area let me know. I would be happy to meet up or organize something to check out rigs and setups.

Aloha!

I had that one in my cart a couple days ago, went back to checkout later and its line they've removed it from the site?

Did you order the HIDs with the CANbus option? the description for its requirement doesn't quite make sense to me on the site.

I think they may have run out of stock. Someone mentioned that on the TRD thread. Might be worth giving the place a call.

Good question. From what I understand it's for cars that have automatic daytime running lights. Since you can turn them off in the 4Runner I don't think you need it. I did order them with CANbus but after the SoCal meet up I went to yesterday I don't think I'll need to install it.

Installed the XenonDepot Xtreme HID kit today. Pretty easy install overall. Waiting for the night to see how it looks.
